Looking Back at 2017

As we look back at 2017, The Carey Group and Carey Group Publishing are proud to have been part of the enormous changes happening in criminal and juvenile justice agencies across the country. We have supported agencies in California, Minnesota, and Ohio in developing strategic plans and protocols that aim to improve outcomes for justice-involved individuals. We have trained and coached supervisors, line staff, and stakeholders in Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Wisconsin, to name a few, on evidence-based practices. We have promoted best practices at workshops at the American Probation and Parole Association’s Summer Institute and numerous State Association conferences. We have provided technical assistance on ground-breaking national projects such as the National Institute of Corrections’ Evidence-Based Decision Making and Dosage initiatives. And we have developed resources and platforms, such as Tools on Devices (TOD), that make it easier for justice-involved individuals to engage in behavior-changing strategies. In fact, our products are now being used in 46 states and four countries.

In 2018, we look forward to continuing to support the many agencies and individuals who are devoted to improving the lives of justice-involved youth and adults.

Happy holidays and all the best for 2018!
